David Anthony Customs Website - view project

Innovation:
After a lot of experimentation using high-resolution video transitions, load times became cumbersome. The site was intended to have a lot of graphic content resulting in large load times. Making it necessary to have an engaging loading animation. The loader involves four complex videos using a mask that reveals another video correlating to the percent loaded. Then finally there needed to be a loader for the loader. After it’s all done you can call upon the complex loader and it’s already cached and runs smoothly when ever new pages load.
Description:
David Anthony wanted a very strong impact and innovative site to showcase his high-end custom built choppers. The main frame of the site was all constructed in Maya and grows in and moves to the center of the screen followed by an animation of the company name. If you click on the logo the users mouse becomes a 3-dimentional hand gun. The user then has one second to shoot the bad guy in the center. If you’re too slow, the screen cracks and you have to click on the David Anthony Customs name to start over. Unfortunately the project is on hold for now and is incomplete, but can it still be some good fun. Enjoy.

Strapped to the Board 3 DVD
